The task was to produce and come up with a design solution that is suitable for holding eggs in place, making it easier for the user to deal with.

My target group was children as most of the kids do not like eggs at their age. 

 

This product is inspired by the paper windmills. Chilldren love making paper windmills and playing with it. So the egg packaging in a shape of a windmill might give them an impression of something good. Thus making it easier for them to accept the food.

The concept would be linking food to fun. Eg: ‘If you eat the egg, you will get to play with the toy (form of windmill).’

Concerning the material, cheap plastic is being used that is transparent as the package will be used as a game in the end.
Furthermore, paper poems are going to be placed in the new designed egg packaging to make it even more exciting for the kid. A paper in each package, it can be a poem or even a small knowledge for the kids.

 

The packaging comes with a stick which is placed in the middle hole and used to hold the product making it ready to spin.
